We're all forgotten legends \ndisappearing from one's mind \nlike high school history or lost loves. \n\nThe greatness that evaded us since birth \nwill be long forgotten years from now. \nYou will be some father of some father \nof someone or other in a family tree\nand that is all that will be known about you.\nThe footprints you left behind \nwill disappear with each tide that reaches the beach's shore. \nThe graffiti you left on walls, books and papers \nwill be erased, replaced and destroyed.\n\nYears from now when they mention the greats,\nyou will not be there.\nYou will be non-existant\nlike the generations before you\nthat you did not witness firsthand.\n<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
